United’s 7-0 Triumph: A Performance Worth the Wait

That 7-0 victory over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup wasn’t just a blowout—it was essential. This is the kind of performance we’ve been waiting for. The team needed a performance like this to kickstart some momentum after a shaky start to the season. This was their biggest win under Ten Hag, and what a way to cruise into the fourth round.

Let’s talk about Marcus Rashford. Two goals, breaking a six-month goal drought—it was vintage Rashford He’s looking confident, composed, and exactly where we need him to be: in front of goal, scoring like it’s second nature. Rashford breaking his six-month drought is huge. He’s the kind of player who, when in form, changes the entire dynamic of United’s attack. This is the Marcus we need, every single game.

Then there’s Alejandro Garnacho, who was electric on the pitch. Two goals, clinical finishing, and he was constantly a threat. Garnacho is a game-changer—every time he’s involved, United look dangerous. His performance is making it harder for Ten Hag to leave him out of the starting XI.

Christian Eriksen? Pure class. Two late goals to seal the deal, but it wasn’t just about scoring—his vision and ability to control the midfield were next-level. He’s the calm in the chaos, always in control and setting up the attacks. Pulling the strings, controlling the tempo, and bagging two goals of his own—he made it look easy.

And we can’t forget Antony, who got himself on the scoresheet with a penalty. After a bit of a dry spell, that goal was a confidence booster he needed.

This win isn’t just about progression in the Carabao Cup—it’s about reminding everyone that United is still a team capable of blowing away opponents with pure, relentless football. High-scoring games are part of our DNA. Remember when we put 9 past Southampton in 2021 or the 9-0 against Ipswich back in ’95? This 7-0 feels like a reminder that, on our day, we can be that team again.

Now, it’s all about consistency. If we can bring this energy to the Premier League and beyond, we’re in for a thrilling season. Let’s go, United, Let’s keep this momentum rolling.🔴

United trash Cherries with 5 goals as they move into top 4.

The visitors stunned United when Junior Stanislas nutmegged Harry Maguire and scored a humiliating goal at 19 minutes.

The equalizer came when Greenwood scored a stunner and it was a relief for the Red Devils as they led by 2 goals during half time with goals coming from Rashford and Martial.

The second half was more challenging as Howe’s men scored to cut the lead to a single goal after a really silly decision by Bailly to stick his arm out after an overhit back pass by Matic

Bournemouth thought they levelled the game score when they scored from a counter-attack only for the offside flag to be raised

Ole’s men drove away all the hopes the visitors had after Greenwood produced his second stunner and Bruno Fernandez finished off with a power-packed free-kick making it 5 goals to 2.

Champions League Qualification is now looking likely since Leicester and Chelsea are inconsistent.

I don’t remember the last time I had my eyes glued to the screen till the last second. I was greedy for another goal but 5 goals are something.

Really happy for our boy Greenwood, 15 goals at the age of 18 is amazing.
I hope this gives a boost to his confidence and he continues this form next season.

Finally after seven years, United managed to score a hat-trick.

The hat-trick drought is finally lifted by Anthony Martial, who became the first player to score three goals in 7 years. The last player to do so was Robin Van Persie in 2013 against Aston Villa.

United hosted Sheffield United at Old Trafford with the aim of stealing all three points and they did just that. Which mean the Reds continue their unbeaten run (13 games) in all competitions.

Manchester United move closer to top 4 who are just 2 points away from Chelsea who plays Man City in their next fixture.

Martial’s firsts: Anthony Martial has scored his first hat-trick and scored in three successive PL home games for the first time in his United career.

After Sheffield United’s loss yesterday they are three consecutive games without a win since the PL resumed and sitting on the 8th position on the Premier League table.
Over a week ago Sheffield was two points behind United with a game in hand.

With Martial’s three wonderful goals he has equaled the the number of goals (19) scored by his fellow team mate Marcus Rashford in all competitions.
Who do you think will be the top scorer in 2019-2020 season?

With Pogba back United are much stronger and looking confident.

Fans were quite impressed by Matic.

Anthony, well done. Your first hat-trick for United, how did it feel?
“I feel very good. It’s my first hat-trick in my career, so I hope I will score more. I’m happy because the team played very good today so I think it’s good.”

Was your favourite goal the hat-trick one? It was a great build-up.
“The last one, I think the last one. It was a very good goal. The first two were two good goals, like a real number nine and I know the manager is happy for these to go in. He was happy.”

You’ve got 19 goals, Marcus has got 19 goals – is there a little competition to see who gets to 20 first?
“He gave me one or two assists today, so the most important  [thing] is to win. I tried to give him a chance to score – no competition, we just want to win.”

Obviously, you’d love to score a hat-trick in front of 75,000 people screaming your name.

“It was really nice. The fans were happy… no, it was a little bit strange! I know they will be happy for me and it’s good to play like this.”

Ole’s test: Spurs vs United. De Gea’s brilliance and Rashford’s goal gave United sixth win in a row.

Pogba’s brilliant pass and Rashford’s beautiful goal gave United a Much needed lead.

Ole becomes the first Manchester United manager to win six games in a row after the Reds defeated Spurs in an intense ninety-minute game at Wembley. Is Manchester United back? will they finish in top 4? the question remains the same. The performance by the red devils was their best so far this season but the result doesn’t tell the whole story, it could have gone either way if it wasn’t for some brilliance by David De Gea.

In the first half Spurs pressed in but United got control of the game putting themselves in front. A brilliant cross from Paul Pobga to Rashford gave United a deserving lead. And for the first time in recent years, United are enjoyable to watch again. Spurs created some chances in the second half but DDG had some other plans. He earned his fourth clean sheet of the season (third one in a row)

Ole Solskjaer celebrating after the win at Wembley.

Gary Neville: “Manchester United look like Manchester United”.

Arsenal’s defeat at West Ham and victory for the United at Wembley bought the Red Devils level with Unai Emery’s men in fifth place. Tottenham remains in the third place but the gap between them and Liverpool increased to nine points and United are six points away from the fourth position. It was first real test for Solskjaer and he passed it with a good grade.

Peter Schmeichel reacts to DDG’s heroics.

David De Gea has now kept as many PL clean sheets this season as Joe Hart.

Herrera was speechless.

David De Gea!!!

Eyes Ahead

“We are still sixth so let’s keep our feet on the floor, let’s try to beat Brighton and be humble. We din’t start the league very well, so we still have a long way to go to each top four”- Ander Herrera.

Impressing the Boss.

“Results-wise, to come away here and beat Tottenham is fantastic,” Solskjaer said.

“We hung on in the second half and we never got to grips with it when they changed the system, but you are allowed to have a good goalkeeper.

Obviously when you make 11 saves it is a top performance, but even so, two of them were top saves but the rest you would expect David to make.”
