What do we know about Ralf Rangnick? The man who inspired Jurgen Klopp and Tuchel.

The red devils are in advance talks with the German manager Ralf Rangnick as an interim manager.

He will sign 6 months contract with the club keeping him till the end of this season.

If things go well United might consider keeping him as/at the permanent role by further giving him a 2-year contract.

Provided the club’s first choice and the ex-Spurs manager Poch is not available to join.

What do we know about our manager to be- Ralf Rangnick?

Previous Roles

Head of sports and development at Lokomotiv Moscow. The German has also previously coached Hannover, Schalke and Hoffenheim before moving into a management role with RB Leipzig.

In his second spell at Schalke, he won the German Cup, German Super Cup and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League where they were beaten by United.

Style of play

Rangnick has long been recognised as one of the first people to invent the ‘gegenpress’, which translates as ‘counter-press; the high-pressing,Where the team immediately fights to win the ball back after losing the possession.

The style famously adopted and bought to fame by Jürgen Klopp.

Rangnick’s game plans were always meticulously planned while his influence on those around him has been extraordinary and that’s testament to his vast knowledge.

Ralf Rangrick with Jurgen Klopp

Mentor

German coaches who are now considered as one of the top like Jürgen Klopp, Thomas Tuchel consider Rangnick as an important figure in their respective managerial paths.

What has he said about his style of play?

“Tactics, fitness, and rules are all hugely important, but they’re only a means to an end. My job – the job – is to improve players. Players follow you as a manager if they feel that you make them better. That’s the greatest, most sincere motivation there is.”

“If you want to increase the speed of your game, you have to develop quicker minds rather than quicker feet,” he said.

“At RB Leipzig, we work on increasing the memory space and the processing pace. We put players into the Soccerbot, for example – a machine that simulates previous games and allows players to relive key moments of matches.

“It’s PlayStation football, but with your feet. The players enjoy it so much we have a hard time getting some of them to stop.

This is what I think

To settle here is way too difficult than it seems. He doesn’t have experience with English football at all. But even if we give him the benefit of the doubt, I do not want the club to stick with him if things don’t work out in the 6-month contract that he will sign.

We will have to be prepared with a good alternative for the next season and I don’t know how much of a difference Pochetino is going to make.

Are you confident about Ralf Rangnick joining United?

A sinking ship that needs a saviour.

Way off pace United has come to a point where it needs a savior, again.

Unfortunately, Ole Gunnar’s reign needs to be cut short, the journey that started on the basis of emotional decision has crumbled.

It was 8th May 2013 when we got the news we had all been dreading to hear. The man who has been with the club for 27 years would retire leaving us with the most decorated Premier League club.

We were so used to the glory we forgot we had a mastermind who has won Premier League with Ashley Young, Tom Cleverly, Danny Welbeck. Yup, He made average players play well and won the league.

Let's dive into our past and our cluelessness regarding the future.

David Moyes

Some of us knew Moyes was a piece of bad news since the day we heard the rumor cause even though he had a competitive spell at Everton he had not won anything with them and here he was taking on the biggest challenge with the biggest PL team.

SAF had left a legacy behind which Moyes failed to continue miserably. United won 27 games in 51 games under him but unfortunately, he was shown the exit door after just a single season, he left United trailing at seventh position.

And here we were looking for another man the very next season.

Luis Van Gaal

When LVG came on we were quite hopeful- his successful time in Bundesliga was quite tempting.
He had the ability to set up foundations and had an eye for young talent. But he was no tactician who could drag United back to where SAF had left us, favorites for every trophy and champions.

His time at United was a total blunder, after 10 league matches United was in ninth place with 13 points and three victories, their worst start to the season since 1987-87.

We were mocked and laughed at and his stunts on the pitch did not help either. Some say he should have given more time and this is something which I believe in as well but passion and aggression to do everything and get the club back on the top is not something that everyone has.

The Jose Mourinho

Enters Mr. Mourinho, the tactical genius. The man who had an amazing spell at Porto, Chelsea, and Real Madrid. To be honest I had a very negative feeling about him. He was constantly falling out with players and fans at his previous clubs. As much as I respect his work I never had much respect for him as a person.

He did manage to win us some titles and at that moment we were relieved to be back on the winning road but it bought in a lot of negativity and instability along.

He was followed by negativity wherever he went and that’s exactly what happened at United as well. When the club denied his request for new defenders, he felt they failed him and turned against the whole system. His disinterest and hopelessness cost him control of the dressing room.

It was time, to get a new boss again.

Ole Gunnar

Ole Gunnar was not a new name at Old Trafford. People adored him. He was our “super-sub” and when there were talks of him replacing Jose, everybody was delighted.

But I somehow did not feel he was ready for the role, from Molde to United?
It was a huge responsibility. No doubt he did amazing there but managing United is one of the toughest jobs in World Football

All the doubts and barriers were broken down when he managed to win 14 of his 19 matches in charge, we finally had the guy we have been looking for.

The board was supportive, we got players that we needed and were finally playing the United way.

Ole had been taking us in the right direction, from boring defensive football to proper attacking football in the earlier stages.

But Mountains were to be climbed.

Last year at this stage of the season, we had 19 points in 10 games, and this season with a much stronger squad we have 17 points in 11 games. I totally understand the frustration of the fans, we should be competing for titles this season but it looks like we have regressed, we have fewer points than what we had last season.

But we all know what happens when the new manager comes in, new mentality, fresh squad, and the same old story of waiting 1-2 seasons to actually get good results.

I am not saying Ole is good or that he should continue, he did what no other previous managers could do. We got our old United back, we also were able to get Ronaldo back which is a very big deal. But this is as much he could do, he doesn’t have vision or style of play or tactical flexibility, which we desperately need.

So all in all I think we need to be very careful before choosing Ole’s successor. The board needs to hunt down a person who actually matches the club’s visions because I know we cannot afford to spend another 2 seasons just “experimenting”. We have a very talented squad, just a few changes in the back and we are ready to compete with the top clubs because trust me facing humiliating results week in and out is getting too much and is not good for the club’s reputation.

Ole was perfect to stabilize the team and clear the deadwood, he has done a pretty decent job of getting us back to UCL qualifications, but if we want to get back on road to success we need a mastermind, a different beast of a manager, who can work his way around and get us results every MUFC fan is dying to see. We might have big names in our squad, but we do not know if they will stick around and wait for another few seasons to lift a trophy.

We have to make some serious changes starting with who will lead the ship, before getting lost in the loop again, Glory Glory Manchester United.

Who do you think should succeed Ole Gunnar?

Ole vs Lampard: Manchester United vs Chelsea pre match review.

United vs Chelsea: This game is among the tough fixtures that the Reds have to go through.

With the rough start to the season Ole’s men made an stunning comeback against PSG in the Champions League game after loosing 6-1 to Jose’s Spurs.

Chelsea’s last victory at Old Trafford was in May 2013 when Juan Mata’s 87th-minute goal secured all 3 points for them.

But the Reds do not hold a very impressive record at home. They played two games at home and lost both.

United haven’t won at OT since defeating Bournemouth 5-2 on the 4 July. Since then their home results have been Southampton 2-2, West Ham 1-1, Crystal Palace 1-3 and Tottenham 1-6.

Ole and his team will look to extend their winning streak on Saturday.

United is unbeaten in the past seven Premier League meetings at home against Chelsea, winning three and in the remaining four.

Following their victory in Paris on Tuesday, Man United have won 10 successive away games in all competitions for the first time in their history.

Head to head:
United
Matches: 187
Wins: 81
Draws: 51

Chelsea
Matches: 187
Wins: 55
Draws: 51

Who do you think will score tomorrow?

Formation:
Talking about formations, the 3-5-2 layout worked wonders against PSG since they are an attacking side.

MUFC were able to contain PSG’s midfield while also creating quite a few chances themselves.

But I would expect Ole to change the formation, since Chelsea rely more on their wingers and their defense is weak.

They might be scoring goals but they are conceding a lot of goals at the same time.

Rashford and teammates celebrate after scoring against Chelsea.

Ole can take advantage of his new players, play Cavani with Telles and if VDB starts then Fred is the best option to play with him.

He should go with the players who have shown good form in the last few games, we cannot keep using the same lineup and expect them to win games for us.

We would love to see Axel Tuanzebe in action again, he was very impressive against PSG and If Maguire isn’t fit Alex deserves another start.

“He’s a boy who takes responsibility for his own development and he’s doing everything he can have to have a long career at #mufc and get that consistency. Now it’s about getting consistency in his performances, he’s got to stay injury-free but I think he can kick on, he’s a leader, can play right-back, Centre-back, midfield

Ole on Tuanzebe
Who do you think will score first?

Defensive problems:
Both the team have issues at the back, Chelsea have given away 10 goals while United have conceded 12 since the season started.

We cannot let last two wins get on our head. Chelsea have Werner and Kai Havertz who look dangerous and can split open our defense.

I expect Ole to form more of an attacking team that will take advantage of Chelsea’s defensive problems but at the same time look to protect our back line.

Ole Gunnar looks on while Lampard gives instructions to his team.

Predicted lineup:
DDG
Tuanzebe, Lindelof, Shaw
Telles, Pogba, Bruno, AWB
Martial/Cavani, Rashford

United vs Chelsea, Premier League: 24th Oct, 10:30 PM IST.

The deadline day transfers.

Even though the Reds could not sign Jordan Sancho they kept themselves busy on the last day of the transfer window

The red devils managed to complete the signing of Alex Telles, Edinson Cavani and Amad Diallo, as well as young centre-back Willy Kambwala and Uruguayan youngster Facundo Pellistri.

The total of five signings before the 11pm deadline window got shut.
But the major problem still looms, did they address all the areas they needed to strengthen?

We needed a CB, CDM, RW but we went on to strengthen every other position but these so I would say no, the problem isn’t solved and we did not fill the gaps that were needed to be filled.

The last day signings were clearly a panic buy I would say since non of these signings were properly planned.

The horror show

The current mood of the fans have bubbled up after the horrendous performance against Tottenham Hotspurs.

And on top of that these signings did not make them happy either since the club failed to get in the players that were desired by the manager.

Despite a busy deadline day transfers United failed to fill the CB position, a key position which needed strengthening specially after horrific display from Maguire, Bailly and Shaw against Spurs.

The reds failed to sign a single of their top targets in every area they were looking to buy.

When Maguire thought Shaw was playing for Spurs.

But the fans knew no such thing is gonna happen when Woodward made it clear the club doesn’t wanna splash in the wake of the loss they suffered in the pandemic.

Ole’s ideal plan was to create a young team. He got rid of the dead wood in the first season itself but we went on to sign a 33 year old in the next. This could be a good signing provided he stays healthy.

I would have been jumping with joy if we would have signed Cavani 2 or 3 years ago, I have always admired that player but right now I am having mixed feelings, is he going to be another Falcao? I really hope not.

Cavani has to quarantine and won’t be available before CL games.

Our board is clearly clueless, they did not pre planned for the transfer window.
Cavani was free agent since six month and yet we chose to get him in on the last day, why? cause he wasn’t even a part of our plan.

If money was the problem why didn’t we got rid of players like Marcus Rojo,
Phil Jones, Romaro to clear out the funds for fresh players?

We needed players for completely different position, we wanted a quick fix so we can compete for the title THIS SEASON. We needed to close the 33 points gap to the leaders.

18 year old Facundo Pellistri.

We cannot wait for our young signings to mature five years down the line till they become worthy of the first team.

If you look at other teams in the Premier League everyone including Arsenal and Everton have made remarkable signing and I won’t be surprised if they finish above us.

The manager is always the scape goat irrespective of weather they had the backing of the board.

I would only urge everyone to not stop pointing out the flaws we have at the club and to not push the manager under the knife.

Match Preview: Manchester United vs Crystal Palace.

After the dramatic end to last season, we welcome Crystal Palace to Old Trafford for the first game of the 2020/21 season.

Having lost just once against the visiting team in the previous 22 games. That loss is still fresh in every MUFC fans mind (hard to forget that last-minute fuckery)

After scoring in the 93rd-minute goal CP’s Patrick Aanholt become the first and to date only visiting player to score a 90th-minute winner away against United in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace have never won back to back league trips against United, only six sides have won away at Old Trafford in consecutive PL games- Man City, Bolton, Liverpool, Southamton, Spurs and West Brom.

Analysing the opposition.
CP are unbeaten in their last four PL away games, one of them being Manchester United. The last team that went unbeaten in their last five PL away games was Chelsea. Will CP be the next team to secure this record? (hell no, why would you think that?)

CP has started their 20/21 campaign with a 1-0 win over Southampton. However, Red Devils have won their opening game more times than any other side (19)

On the other hand, CP has never won two consecutive games at the start of any top-flight campaign.

Me when I see Bruno score 😀

Manchester United have lost just one of their last 17 Premier League games at Old Trafford (ohh yeaahhh)

With just one month and three daybreak, one friendly against Aston Villa (and one hell of a Sancho transfer drama) United are back in the business.

All eyes will be on on their newest and the only addition- Van De Beek. After participating in the only pre-season game against Aston Villa the Dutch forward will probably come on to make his debut at the 60 minute mark. MUFC fans have to be patient with him, he will take time to adjust to his new environment, teammates and style of play.

Our new addition. :*

The hosts will be favorable to win but cannot underestimate the team which defeated us twice at home last season.

Injury update
Phil Joans and Axel Tuanzebe are still unavailable
“Phil Jones is still out,” Ole told in his exclusive pre-match interview with MUTV. “Axel is not 100 per cent back with us yet, but he’s on the grass running, which is a positive. Apart from that, we don’t have any serious injuries, but, as we’ve said, the players are at different stages of their training programmes.

“We need points and the players need games but some of them haven’t trained enough or had enough football. Some of them have been in quarantine, it’s just one of these situations which we’ve adapted to really well before and the players have done well.”

2019/2020 Season Review

The longest season ever has come to an end, even though United have lost too many semi-finals we have a lot to take away from this season.

From 14th position in October 2019 to fighting and finishing in top 3 was a big achievement. Ole’s first season was all about fixing the team and that’s what he has done.

Getting rid of all the deadwood and making space for the young fresh talent. weren’t we cribbing about this for years?

That’s what United is all about that’s our culture and 99′ squad have proved everyone who was against this culture wrong.

But is it helping us now? I would say yes, the biggest proof we have is Greenwood. Had Ole not given him enough chances he wouldn’t have able to show what he can do.

Then there is Williams who sent a player like Shaw to the bench, McTom is another example, he replaced Matic when Ole came in.

The first half of the season was bizarre. We drew too many games, played like a championship team. Our most important players Rashford, Martial and Pogba were injured. And the team was in charge of players like Lingard, Pereira, Mata.

Maguire was a good addition to the team after Smalling was sent away to Inter.
We conceded 36 goals compared to 54 goals in the last term, we have the third-best defence in the PL and we cannot forget countless mistakes that David De Gea made.

Last season we earned 66 points same like this year but last year we finished 6th 66 points for 3rd place was too bad, shows how bad we were. Before December we had picked up only 34 points from 24 games win rate was 37.5% and we conceded 24 goals in 29 games which are total rubbish.

I would blame the injury of our key players, within first four games of the season we lost Martial and Pogba, which affected our form terribly and by the mid of Oct we were thrown down to 14th place on the table, we earned only 9 points from 8 games before the international break.

By this time we had only two goals since August and the only goal we scored without Pogba was through penalty.

After the international break, things started to look bright for United when they drew the yet to be defeated side- Liverpool. What changed? The mighty Frenchmen Anthony Martial had returned and by December we defeated Spurs and City within a week.

We earned 59 points from 29 games after his arrival, only Liverpool and City had more and if would have played at this pace we could have probably earned more than 73 points.

When Bruno arrived we did not had to change the style of the play rather he fit the team so well that we not only started winning but started scoring good number of goals in most of the games, the goal percentage went from 1.74 pg to 2.33 pg.

we played Chelsea and City eight times and won six of them but the main problem lies against the small teams who come to the pitch which the sole purpose of parking the bus in front of the front men.

There are a lot of places where we need to improve. Qualifying for Champions League shouldn’t be our aim but rather fighting for the title and going ahead in Champions League as far as we can.

Over all according me Ole has done a decent job. He cleared out the deadwood that we have been dragging along since so many years, he made a clear space for the young fresh faces from the academy.

He made Greenwood in to a first team player when he had no more than 1 first team start.

Fred who wasn’t even a second choice midfielder had a great team under Ole

Nemanja Matic did not even look eye to eye with Ole is now an important part of the team. Even though he came into the light after McTom had to be dropped due to injury.

What do we need to do to be better?
Well, it’s no secret, We really really need to add squad depth. With Van De Beek our midfield will be strong and stable but we need a good LB, RW and a good second choice attacker who can come on for Martial.

How will you describe this season in one word?

All the possible ways United can get Champions League football.

The race for Premier League top 4 has never been this exciting.

Leicester’s loss against Spurs on Sunday have made it easier for the Red Devils to move above them with a draw/win with their game in hand against WHU.

Chelsea are ahead by a point with a game in Hand against Liverpool. But I doubt Liverpool will like it if their rivals end up playing CL football. So we can really not expect any favours from them.

The best ending for the Red Devil’s will be a victory in both their remaining games but if they fail to do so? Then here is the second best ending for them.

Maguire gets tackled by Jack Wilshere of WHU.

Top 4 possibilities
If we remove City and Liverpool from the picture (since they have already qualified for the CL) we are left with:

Chelsea are 3rd with a 1 point lead- they have to play Liverpool and Wolves.

Leicester City are in 4th place level on points with Manchester United (having played a game more), they have Manchester United to play on the final day.

Manchester United are in 5th level with Leicester City- Have a game in hand- they play West Ham and Leicester City.

Leicester Lost 3-0 against Spurs.

Since Leicester City lost against Spurs with a 3 goal margin, they have opened the opportunity for United to grab the 4th spot.

If United win with a margin of 3 goals against West Ham today they can secure the 4th spot with just a draw against Leicester City and shouldn’t lose by a 1 goal margin on the final day to stay ahead on goal difference.

And the best case will be If Chelsea lose to Liverpool tonight and United beat WHU, Ole’s men can jump up to the 3rd spot with 2 points lead if Chelsea fail to win.

So even if United draw against Leicester they can secure the Champions League spot.

United lost 0-2 to West Ham the last time teams clashed.

United are guaranteed to finish in the top 4 if they pick up 2 points from their remaining 2 games and if they pick up 3 points by beating WHU and losing to Leicester, they could still miss out on top 4

It means that if United get 2 points that means that they will draw against WHU and LC (with a total of 64points)

And if they get 3 points, win against WHU and lose against LC then they will finish with 65 total points, but since LC will win against them they will get 3 points with the total of 65 points which will level with Man Utd but they will be ahead of goal difference.

Arsenal lost 0-1 against Aston Villa.

Fun fact:
After Arsenal lost to Aston Villa the highest Points tally they can get is 56 points.
That’s 8 points lower than we got under David Moyes.

What are your predictions for tonight’s game?

How Bruno Fernandes has impacted Manchester United’s game since his debut.

United’s biggest January signing has had a huge impact on Manchester United since he joined the Red Devils.

A lot was expected from his arrival,  but who would have guessed this Portuguese wonder boy would set fire the moment he stepped foot on the pitch.

Since Manchester United signed Bruno Fernandez from Sporting Lisbon for £67.6m, He has been involved in 15 goals. Only Messi has been involved in more goals (16) than him.

Bruno Fernandez during his signing.

He has won 7 Man of the Match awards in 16 games and 2 Premier League player of the month award since he joined in January, he becomes the seventh player in history to earn the prize twice in a row.

The Red Devils were 10 points off from then third-place Chelsea in Oct 2019, fast forward to now,  now we are competing with them for the third and fourth position along with Leicester City with just a point separating them from Leicester and us.

Bruno’s Latest goal came through a penalty.

Ole’s army took only 34 points from their first 24 games, after Bruno’s arrival the win ratio doubled and they have not lost a single game since, stretching the winning streak to  19 games. This run was halted by the 3-1 loss in the FA Cup SemiFinal to Chelsea.

Since making his debut, United have sealed the joint-most points (18), scored the most goals (15) and conceded the joint-fewest goals (2) in the Premier League.

Manchester United have continued their winning streak after the Premier League resumed and Bruno has been quite influential.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is jtuotwxfb7851-1024x557.jpg

United have played 11 PL games with Bruno and took 25 points, lost 0 games. A better stat than Liverpool who has taken 23 points and has lost 2 games in 11 PL matches.

The biggest transformation United has ever had after signing a new player, even Robin Van Persie has been left behind, Burno (14) has overtaken Robin Van (12) Persie’s first 11 games record of most assists and goals.

His arrival has also impacted the number of goals scored, United scored 36 goals in 24 matches before him, and 20 in nine matches since.

United have also managed to concede 36% fewer goals per match than previously, they conceded 24 in 29, and afterwards, the nine games in the league he has featured they have let in just four.

Celebrating one of his goals.

Bruno has also improved the players around him, with him handling the midfield Anthony Martial, Rashford and Greenwood have the freedom to attack, our linkup play between Bruno and our front 3 is so promising and every MUFC fan will be looking to see more of these 4 play together in the future.

Pogba has also been a completely different player since the restart and looks  happy and confident to share his workload with him. They have not played a lot of games together, but the signs are very promising

Bruno with Paul Pogba.

Do you think he will manage to take United to the Champions League?

United can still play Champions League football even after finishing 5th in the league.

There was a lot of fuss regarding Manchester City’s European football ban due to their violence of FFP in the transfer window.

The club’s successful appeal to overturn the ban means 2nd placed City and champions Liverpool have booked their place for the Champions League next season.

Chelsea, Leicester City and Manchester United are fighting for the two remaining UCL spots.

Ole’s men failed to make the most of their opportunity to go 3rd after they were denied 3 points against Southampton earlier this week.

Chelsea (2 pending games)
Liverpool: 23rd July
Wolves: 26th July
Chelsea is in third place with 4 points ahead of Leicester and United, both UTD and Leicester have a game in hand. Chelsea has Liverpool and Wolves to play before they know their fate for UCL football next season.

United (3 pending games)
Crystal Palace: 16th July
Westham: 22nd July
Leicester City: 26th July
The Reds can guarantee their spot in top 4 if they manage to win all three of their remaining games.

Leicester City (3 pending games)
Sheffield United: 16th July
Spurs: 19th July
Manchester United: 26th July
Leicester can probably manage to ease past struggling Spurs but they will have to put up a show if they want to win against United who are desperate to earn all the points from their last 3 games.

A maximum of 5 teams are allowed from a single league so if United or Wolves win Europa League or Chelsea manage to win the Champions League then both the winning team will qualify for the next season’s Champions League and fourth-placed team in the Premier League would earn a spot in the Europa League.

If Chelsea and Leicester City fail to lose points, Manchester United will have another chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season by winning the Europa League.

So if United manage to win the European title, they will qualify for next season’s Champions League no matter where they finish in the PL.

If Chelsea do win the Champions League and Manchester United or Wolves win Europa League then 6th placed team in the league table will not play be eligible for the Europa League.

But if Chelsea and United don’t manage to finish in top 4 and Chelsea and Man Utd/Wolves win the European cups then only top 3 will manage to qualify in the Champions League.

It’s very unlikely for Chelsea to win the Champions League considering their form. But United and Wolves have a chance to win the Europa cup if they continue their current form.

Manchester United concede a late equalizer due to defensive error in their last PL game.

How United can get affected financially if they fail to qualify.
Manchester United players will get a reduction of 25% in their salaries.
The club’s finances will get a huge dent if they don’t get revenue from UCL and failure to qualify for 2 consecutive seasons will also result in a 30% deal cut in the sponsorship with Adidas.

Villa vs United-The record-breaking game

Yet another wonderful display by United who started off well, dominating the game for a few minutes but the look of the games changed completely as Villa took charge.

But that did not last long, they gave away the ball easily and Ole’s men who were calm and composed made some threatening moves in the opposition’s box.

Bruno who was fouled by Konsa, gave United a breakthrough after VAR gave a penalty in their favour.

Our wonder boy Greenwood scored yet again, 22 yards away from the goal he moves it away from  Douglas Luiz to his right foot and simply blasted it past Reina.

The dreamy duo (Pogba x Bruno) are rather getting on well, Bruno dragged the corner ball back to Pogba edging pass the D line who converted it into an outstanding goal from the outside of the box.

Manchester United broke a couple of records after they won with 3 goal margin against Aston Villa yesterday night.

Here are all the records that were broken by Ole Gunnar’s men.

The Reds became the first in the division’s history to win four successive matches by a margin of three goals or more as they extended their unbeaten run to 17 games in all competitions.

Yesterday’s penalty was incredibly United’s 13th in the league this season, and no team has ever been awarded that many penalties in a Premier League campaign before.

Mason Greenwood is the second teenager to score in three consecutive PL appearances for United after Wayner Rooney in 2005

No player has scored more PL goals from outside the box than Mason Greenwood this season (4).

David De Gea played his 399th game breaking the record of most number of games played by an over seas player for Man Utd. (which was previously held by Peter Schmeichel)
